The Prettiest Painted Breakfast Tray (hw1042)

This is one of the prettiest painted breakfast trays we have seen for some time! It dates to the 1930s and is a wooden, painted tray with fold-out legs. It is hand painted in the most perfect shade of pale, buttery primrose yellow, really quite the most sublimely wonderful colour, so very vintage! It is adorned with delicately hand painted flowers, bluebells and daisies amongst others, all in such gentle wispy colours which are so beautiful. The tray has a curvy shape (ideal for breakfast in bed!) and the fold-out legs fix securely into place. A subtle gold painted finish decorates the edge of the lip, this has worn in places for that lovely understated appearance. An absolute gem of a vintage tray; if authentic vintage beauty is your love, then you will simply adore this tray.

The tray stands 9" high with the legs folded open. It is 24" wide and 13" at the deepest. It has age-related wear here and there and the cream paint has crackled with age, affording it totally genuine vintage charm.
