1930s Floral and Pink Ribbon Barbola Mirror (hw1178)

One of the prettiest barbola mirrors we have seen! This is a large circular wall mirror dating to the 1930s with bevelled glass and original backing and hanging chain. The decoration is simply gorgeous! A crest of pretty daisy-like flowers and a pink fuchsia decorates the top, whilst a single pale yellow daisy and fuchsia sits at the bottom. The florals are accompanied by a graduated pink ribbon and the soft stippled cream base sets the beautiful design off perfectly.

Really and truly, a supremely pretty example of an antique barbola mirror. The mirror is approximately 44cm across and 46cm high including the decoration. Usual age-related cracking to decoration always a sign of authenticity. One tail end and 4.5cm section of ribbon missing, and a tiny tip of leaf.
