Delightful Watercolour of Crocus in a Bowl (pg626)

This is a really beautiful image. It is an original watercolour painted in the 1930s and set in its original painted frame within a mount. It depicts a bowl of purple crocuses along with a string of beads. The painting is exceptionally pretty and extremely easy on the eye. It is signed by the artist Elsie Harmett. The subtle green painted wooden frame wonderfully complements the gentle colours in the painting. The painting has its original paper backing.

A very pretty watercolour which will fit so well in a pretty vintage home. The frame is approximately 10" by 13". Some age-darkening to the mount and age-related wear to the frame. The painting is in excellent condition.
