Pretty French Vintage Floral Rug (tx1159)

This is a very pretty vintage wool rug. It has a lovely design of roses with a delicate pink and cream colourway with a gold aanthus leaf border. The woven rug has a sturdy hessian backing and retains its original label which gives the name of the manufacturer France Tapis and the design which is Bagatelle in Creme and Rose. This rug is perfect for any room in the house and its delicate soft colours will fit perfectly into an English or French country styled home.

The rug is approximately 28" by 55". In excellent pre-used condition (weave is flat) with no notable marks etc. The hessian backing has some watermark outlines which are not evident on the face.
